Victoria Beckham on body mission

Victoria Beckham is on a mission to regain her pre-pregnancy body, according to a source.
The former Spice Girl gave birth to baby daughter Harper in July, and has reportedly adopted a strict diet following the birth.
Victoria is still keen to tone up.
''Victoria’s told her inner circle she’s still on a mission to get back to her best again,'' a source told Closer magazine.
''She’s back to her no-carbs, protein-only diet.''
Victoria won Designer Brand Of The Year at the British Fashion Awards in November. The star is said to have put extra care into her diet before appearing at the prestigious fashion event.
''She was barely eating during the week running up to the fashion awards. Her meals consist of a handful of nuts and berries and fish and salad for dinner,'' the source added.
''She also goes running every day.''

Perry named MTV artist of the year

Katy Perry's run of No.1 singles has earned her the distinction of becoming MTV's first artist of the year.

Perry topped Adele after a spirited discussion among MTV's internal panel of experts, the network said Thursday. Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" was chosen top song of 2011, said Amy Doyle, the network's chief of music programming.

MTV also declared Skrillex its electronic dance music artist of the year over David Guetta.

Different parts of MTV would make "best of" lists in the past, but the network wanted to establish a franchise that brought all its online and TV arms together and emphasised MTV's music roots, Doyle said. The network, established in 1981, hopes it becomes an annual thing.

Seven panelists made the final choice, and their deliberations were featured in MTV programming this week.

Rolling in the Deep was an obvious selection as top song, Doyle said. Runners-up were Nicki Minaj's Super Bass and Rihanna's We Found Love.

"I loved the song the moment I wrote it," Adele said. "The melody and the beat added some conviction to it. I think that's why people connected with it."

Perry's achievement of tying Michael Jackson's "Bad" as the only albums to yield five No. 1 singles was particularly impressive, Doyle said. Along with the title cut, California Gurls, E.T., Firework" and Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) all topped the charts. She's trying to beat the record with the current single The One That Got Away.

"You just really felt her presence in pop culture throughout the year," Doyle said.

Skrillex, whose real name is Sonny Moore, describes his music as a combination of "dubstep, electro and glitch." MTV included the category of best electronic dance music artist to pay tribute to the way the style is taking off with its young viewers, she said.

MTV also asked its viewers to vote on their choice of the best live performances shown on MTV all year. Their choice was "Hurricane" by Thirty Seconds to Mars.

Martin says Gaga is better than him

Chris Martin thinks Lady Gaga is a better songwriter than him.

The Coldplay frontman is famed for masterminding the lyrics behind the band's string of hit songs. Despite his musical talent, Chris insists Gaga is far superior.

"She's very sweet. I think what undercuts it all, though, is that she's talented and she writes everything," he told British newspaper The Sun.

"I just admire all of the hats and the dresses and the madness and everything because I know that underneath it all she can beat me at writing choruses."

It was revealed last week that BRITs producers are lining up the first live performance of Coldplay's song Princess of China. The track features Rihanna and is from the band's new album Mylo Xyloto. Chris is unsure as to whether the international pop star will perform on stage with them in February.

"I'd like to but she's got her choice of everybody, so it depends on where we come on her list," he explained.

Chris has two children - Apple and Moses - with his Hollywood star wife, Gwyneth Paltrow. The musician has been so busy with his career of late that he hasn't prepared for the festive period yet.

"I haven't even thought about Christmas - it's in two weeks' time," he chimed.

Hogan sues ex-wife over gay claims

Hulk Hogan is suing his ex-wife for defamation, saying her claims that he had an affair with fellow wrestler Brutus Beefcake are "ridiculous" and "insane".

Hogan, whose real name is Terrance Gene Bollea, filed the lawsuit against his ex-wife Linda Bollea in Florida last week over claims she made in her book Wrestling the Hulk: My Life Against the Ropes, or while promoting it, that he was violent and had affairs with men.

She claimed he had an affair with wrestler Edward Leslie, known in the ring as Brutus Beefcake, The Booty Man and Dizzy Hogan, who began his career with Hulk Hogan and was often billed as his brother.

Hogan told Us Weekly he was baffled by the claims.

"After the four-year crazy divorce I thought I'd heard everything I could hear in the courtroom," he said.

"Then, all of a sudden she says I abused her, that I was violent. She told everybody that I was a homosexual.

"If any of that was true, I would admit it, and [if] I was a homosexual I would embrace it.

"It's just so crazy to hear, so I have a real problem with it.

"If you're going to say I'm something that I'm not to try to ruin my career and my livelihood ... I have to answer her back.

"It's so ridiculous. I don't mean to laugh about it, because it's not funny. But it's insane. It doesn't make any sense to me."

The 18-page lawsuit claimed Ms Bollea wrote the book to help revive her career.

Hulk Hogan said the claims harmed his reputation and was demanding a jury trial and a halt to his ex-wife's comments.

The couple have two children, 23-year-old Brooke and 21-year-old Nick, and the family was the focus of reality show Hogan Knows Best.

Their 2007 divorce was public and notoriously acrimonious, with Ms Bollea doing several media interviews detailing her allegations of domestic violence, which Hogan refuted.

According to Florida's St Petersburg Times she received more than 70 per cent of the couple's assets in their recent divorce settlement.

She also got 40 per cent ownership of his various companies, kept a Mercedes-Benz, a Cadillac Escalade, a Corvette, a Rolls-Royce.

Hulk Hogan has since remarried.

Katy's boozy confession

When we spotted a snap of Katy Perry sporting a rounded tummy at the MTV Europe Music Awards, we couldn't help but speculate that Mrs Russell Brand might be expecting.

But the singer has shot down the rumour, confessing that she loves booze more than babies!

"I still love drinking alcohol so not yet," she told The Insider at the recent American Music Awards.

As for the suspiciously rounded tummy? Katy chalked it up to her love of In-And-Out Burger and Taco Bell!

Still, Katy's not ruling out the possibility of having kids in the future."[Children] is one of the reasons you get married," she told Ellen DeGeneres last month. "Especially to the person that you marry. You think, that person is going to be a good partner, a good parent. But I'm not sure it's time yet. We'll see, ya know?"

"If it doesn't hurt the first time, I'll keep popping them out!"

'Used' ex Kris suing Kim Kardashian

Kris Humphries is reportedly set to file a lawsuit against his estranged wife Kim Kardashian.

The 26-year-old basketball player was said to be left reeling after Kim filed for divorce just 72 days following their lavish nuptials.

But Life & Style reports that Kris has met with a legal team and is preparing to sue the reality star for US$10 million (NZ$13 million).

"Kris has a legal team investigating his options," the insider told the publication. "He's claiming his role on Kourtney & Kim Take New York is bigger than he was told, and that's why he wants more money."

"But Kris is also suing because he's really worried about how badly he's going to be portrayed on the series."

The 6' 9" athlete is apparently particularly concerned about footage that depicts him allegedly "bullying" Kim's best friend Jonathan Cheban.

"Midway through the season, Kris starts bullying Kim's best friend, Jonathan Cheban, about his sexuality," the source claims. "Jonathan isn't gay, but Kris accuses him of being gay and criticised him for it in a really homophobic way. Jonathan is really upset."

Kris has retained his lawyer to try to stop the most provocative scenes from airing.

However, Kris's family and friends maintain that most of his appearances on the show were scripted - which includes the scenes he is talking to Jonathan about his sexuality.

"Little did Kris know that he was being set up," his father William Humphries said. "Kris got used - 100 percent used."

Kris Humphries: 'Devastated' but Still Wants Marriage to Work

Was Kris Humphries blindsided?

The NBA player says he's reeling from Kim Kardashian's decision to file for divorce after just 72 days of marriage.

"I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce," he said in a statement Monday.

In August, Humphries, 26, and Kardashian, 31, exchanged vows in front of friends and family during a lavish ceremony at a private estate in Montecito, Calif., in front of 440 guests.

And despite her decision to call it quits, Humphries isn't prepared to give up so easily.

"I'm committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents," he says in the statement, "and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it work."

Cops fired for protecting Paris Hilton

Protecting Paris Hilton on the side could put you in danger of losing your real job.

Three Polish police commandos will lose their posts in an elite anti-terrorist unit for serving as bodyguards for the controversial celebrity during a recent visit to Poland.

"If the policemen who protected Hilton do not leave on their own by the end of the week, they will be disciplinarily fired," Dariusz Biel, the head of the regional police where the three serve, was quoted as saying this week.

Members of the anti-terrorist unit usually conceal their faces and must seek permission for any outside work.

The three commandos, who appeared in various photos on gossip sites with the blond hotel heiress, were also said to have carried their police weapons when they served as Hilton's bodyguards during her appearance at an opening of a shopping mall in Katowice, in southern Poland.

Wow! See Courtney Stodden's Unrecognizable High School Photo

Courtney Stodden's time in the spotlight has aged her something fierce.

Since Doug Hutchison, 51, married the 17-year-old aspiring singer-actress in May, Stodden has been accused of lying about her age. (Good Morning America, however, tracked down her birth certificate and confirmed that at the time of their July interview, she was in fact 16 years old.)

While Stodden adamantly denies she's had plastic surgery, the mature-looking blonde is barely recognizable from high school photos that were, according to the Daily Mail, taken just 18 months before her controversial wedding.

Before the cleavage shots, orange tans and spray-on abs, Stodden was a fresh-faced, fair-skinned girl. In a shot from her high school days, she appears natural and relaxed while wearing a conservative blouse and minimal makeup.

In an interview with E! News in July, Hutchison said "God was [Courtney's] only plastic surgeon."

"I was born this way out of the womb," Stodden added.

Rent the Jersey Shore house

Fans of MTV's Jersey Shore can get a firsthand look at the gym-tan-laundry lifestyle by renting the house where the reality series is taped.

Just bring US$2500) a night and your own drama.

Renters to the home in Seaside Heights have access to the duck phone and the double bed in the Smush Room. But they won't find the usual mess because the landlord cleaned the place.

Renter Joe Ambrosini of Philadelphia tells the Asbury Park Press people took his picture anytime he went out of the deck. The 33-year-old says it was like "buying 15 minutes of fame".

Jennifer Bauer of Toms River says it's cool sleeping in the same bedrooms where the cast stayed. But Bauer says she brought her own sheets.

Lindsay Lohan's Next Gig: Playboy?!

Is Lindsay Lohan flashing those newly pearly whites, and possibly a little bit more, at the camera right this second?

The embattled starlet is taking part in a top-secret photo shoot today and tomorrow and E! News is hearing whispers that it's for a spread in an upcoming issue of Playboy.

Hey, it worked for one of Lohan's idols, Marilyn Monroe. But would she dare to go all-the-way bare?

Well, that would be something, wouldn't it?

Lohan was spotted heading into a Beverly Hills mansion, purportedly the scene of the photo shoot, earlier today.

But at this point, her rep, Steve Honig, isn't ready to admit that Lohan is playing ball for Playboy —but he's not denying it either.

"I can neither confirm nor deny at this time," Honig tells E! News. Lohan herself didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

"We don't comment on rumors about who may or may not be posing for the magazine...if anything changes, I'll be sure to let you know," added a rep for Playboy.

Meanwhile, a source close to Lohan is under the impression that the L.A. County morgue's most famous volunteer is collecting a pretty fat paycheck for her posing services.

Giuliana Rancic, 36, reveals breast cancer discovered during IVF

Giuliana Rancic revealed Monday that she has early-stage breast cancer — then went out of her way to thank husband Bill Rancic for letting her cry, and the baby she doesn't yet have for most likely saving her life.

E! Entertainment host Giuliana and original "The Apprentice" winner Bill have been trying to get pregnant through in vitro fertilization, a journey chronicled on their reality show, "Giuliana & Bill." After two failed IVF attempts, Giuliana Rancic ended the show's most recent season by heading back for a third round of fertility treatments.

This time, however, one doctor insisted the 36-year-old get a mammogram first, she said Monday on the "Today" show.

"He said, 'I will not get you pregnant' " without ruling out her small risk of breast cancer, " 'because if you get pregnant it will accelerate the cancer, all the hormones will accelerate the cancer,' " said an emotional Rancic. She said she fought the idea at first, as she hadn't planned on getting that type of scan until the recommended age, 40.

She went ahead with the egg retrieval portion of the IVF treatment, as well as the scan. And then the bad news came.

"They called me the next day and told me, 'We need to you to come back, we see something.' " The Rancics have since put off a third attempt to get pregnant until after she's completed her treatment, which will include surgery this coming week and then 6½ weeks of radiation.

After praising her husband for supporting her and letting her cry when she needs to cry, she also thanked the baby they hope to have in the future. "I truly believe that God was looking out for me," she said, and that there was some sort of "master plan" behind the failure of her previous IVF attempts, including one that ended in a miscarriage after eight weeks.

"I'm not going to give up," Rancic said. "I want that baby. That baby will have saved my life."

Anne Hathaway's Catwoman diet

David Letterman Marked for Death on Extremist Website

Attempted extortion all of a sudden doesn't sound so bad anymore.

David Letterman was the target of a death threat in a violently worded post that popped up on an extremist networking site frequented by al-Qaida, according to SITE Intelligence Group, a private company that trolls the web for possible terrorist activity.

The call to "cut the tongue of this lowly Jew and shut it forever" apparently came after Letterman—who, for the record, is not Jewish—cracked a joke on Late Show perceived as offensive to Islam.

"He showed his evil nature and deep hatred for Islam and Muslims, and said that Ilyas Kashmiri was killed and he joined bin Laden," the poster, identified as Umar al-Basrawi, wrote on the site. "We ask Allah to paralyze his tongue and grant the sincere monotheists his neck."

A SITE analyst described the Shumukh-al-Islam website as a "clearing house for al-Qaida material" and told EW.com that they perceived the diatribe against Letterman as "a more explicit threat" than the one aimed at South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone after they depicted the prophet Muhammad over the course of two episodes in 2009.

Zachary Chesser, a college dropout from Virginia who had tried to hitch his apple cart to a Somalian terrorist organization, had warned Parker and Stone that they would end up like director Theo Van Gogh, who was shot to death by an Islamic extremist in the Netherlands.

Chesser was ultimately sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to supporting a terrorist group, communicating threats and soliciting crimes of violence—all technically unrelated to the South Park stuff.

A rep for Letterman's Worldwide Pants production company respectfully declined to comment, but SITE is advising the funnyman to be on his guard and take the same precautions as he would if he were evading a stalker.

Kim's wedding-day fears

Kim Kardashian may have the money, fame and knock-out bod that most of us can only dream of, but like any bride, she has some fears about her wedding day.

The buxom reality TV star has revealed that she's going to be incredibly nervous walking down the aisle - especially because half the world will be watching - so she's turned to step-dad Bruce Jenner for help.

“I was so nervous to walk down the aisle by myself, for some reason I wasn’t thinking, like, ‘Oh, Bruce will be there right with me,’ so I was thinking, ‘I’m gonna fall, I’m gonna faint, oh my God, my train!” Kim said whilst on the red carpet at the 2011 Do Something! Awards.

Kim also dropped some hints about her much anticipated Vera Wang gown, saying, “I’ll just say she’s doing something I’ve never seen before when it comes to dresses.”

Katy Perry Makes History With Fifth No. 1 'Teenage Dream' Single

Katy Perry has officially made history after scoring her fifth No. 1 single off of her ‘Teenage Dream’ album, making her the only artist to do so in nearly 19 years. ‘Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)’ recently climbed from No. 2 to No. 1, and this achievement will surely see Perry’s name imprinted in pop culture books worldwide.

Aside from ‘Last Friday Night,’ Perry saw four other ‘Teenage Dream’ singles skyrocket to No. 1. ‘California Gurls’ featuring Snoop Dogg, ‘Teenage Dream,’ ‘Firework,’ and ‘E.T’ featuring Kanye West all claimed the No. 1 position on the Billboard Pop Songs chart.

Both Lady Gaga and Justin Timberlake were tied for the record before Perry trumped their numbers. Timberlake and Gaga each had four chart-topping singles off of ‘FutureSex/LoveSounds’ and ‘The Fame,’ respectively.

According to a report from Billboard, Perry’s latest single also “sets the mark for most weekly plays in the chart’s history.” Wanna know the funny part? The track that previously held this title was Perry’s own ‘E.T.’

Before her history-making ‘Teenage Dream’ tunes were released, Perry had already pocketed two No. 1′s on the Billboard charts with her ‘One of the Boys’ tracks ‘Hot N Cold’ and ‘Waking Up in Vegas.’

Perry is also up for another huge honor if ‘Last Friday Night’ can top the Billboard Hot 100. ‘Teenage Dream’ would be the first album to garner five No. 1 singles since Michael Jackson‘s 1987 release, ‘Bad.’ Can you imagine what it must feel like being on the cusp of breaking a record set by the King of Pop? We’re sure 26-year-old Perry is on cloud nine, just like her ‘Teenage Dream’ album cover.

Amy Winehouse found dead

Singer Amy Winehouse, whose drink and drug addictions overshadowed her sultry musical talents, was found dead at her London flat on Saturday. She was 27.

The Grammy award-winning soul singer, with her trademark beehive hairstyle, battled with her demons as documented in her biggest hit single “Rehab”. Her death is being treated as unexplained, police said.

Friends and fellow stars voiced their shock and sadness at her death, while fans began to gather and lay flowers candles and teddy bears at the police cordon outside her home in Camden, north London.

A London Ambulance Service (LAS) spokeswoman told AFP they were called to her home at 3:54 pm (1454 GMT) and sent two ambulance crews which arrived within five minutes, plus a cycle responder and a duty manager.

“Sadly the patient had died,” the spokeswoman said.

The road outside her house has been cordoned off and forensic officers were seen going in and out of the building.

A black private ambulance pulled up outside at around 8:45 pm (1945 GMT). Officials bearing a red body bag emerged from the building minutes later.

The police said the LAS called them at around 4:05 pm (1505 GMT) following reports of a woman found deceased.

“On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene,” Scotland Yard said in a statement.

“Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained.”

One neighbour reported hearing screaming coming from the house in the early hours of Saturday.

The singer had a European comeback tour schedule but pulled out following a disastrous opening performance in Serbia on June 18.

In the run-up to her live return, Winehouse spent a week at an addiction treatment clinic in London, reportedly at the suggestion of her father, Mitch, over concerns that she was drinking too much.

A spokesman for the late singer said her father was aware of her death and making his way back from New York.

“Everyone involved with Amy is shocked and devastated. Our thoughts are with her family and friends. The family will issue a statement when ready,” he said.

Her record label Universal said in a statement: “We are deeply saddened at the sudden loss of such a gifted musician, artist and performer. Our prayers go out to Amy’s family, friends and fans at this difficult time.”

Winehouse rocketed to fame after winning five Grammy awards off the back of her 2006 second album “Back to Black” and the hit single “Rehab”.

Her comeback tour lasted one performance last month when she was booed at the opening performance in Belgrade, apparently too drunk to sing.

Some 20,000 people gathered for the highly-promoted concert, but many soon left.

During the 90-minute gig, Winehouse could only mumble some of the lyrics, failing to follow her band.

She left the stage twice, with many fans showing their displeasure despite her band’s attempts to calm the crowd.

“Amy Winehouse is withdrawing from all scheduled performances,” a statement from her representatives said.

“Everyone involved wishes to do everything they can to help her return to her best and she will be given as long as it takes for this to happen.”

She had also been scheduled to perform in Istanbul, Athens, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Austria and Poland.

She made her final public appearance at The Roundhouse venue in Camden on Wednesday, joining her goddaughter Dionne Bromfield on stage.

She danced with Bromfield and encouraged the audience to buy the 15-year-old’s album before leaving.

Bromfield performed at a festival in Wales shortly after news broke of Winehouse’s death. She left straight afterwards.

Producer Mark Ronson, who worked closely with Winehouse, said: “She was my musical soulmate and like a sister to me. This is one of the saddest days of my life.”

Known for her distinctive voice and beehive hairstyle, Winehouse’s debut album “Frank” was released in 2003 and brought her wide acclaim. It went triple platinum in Britain.

The follow-up, “Back to Black”, was a worldwide smash hit, reaching number one in Britain and number two in the US charts. It went six times platinum in Britain and double platinum in the United States.

She married Blake Fielder-Civil in Miami in May 2007 but they had a tempestuous relationship. He spent part of their marriage behind bars for a vicious attack on a pub landlord and a subsequent attempt to cover it up.

They divorced in July 2009.

Victoria Beckham orders Louboutin for unborn daughter

Victoria Beckham has asked French designer Christian Louboutin to create a pair of baby shoes for her unborn daughter.

According to a source, the star even asked for the boots to include the labels trademark red soles.

The former Spice Girl is renowned for her love of fashion and is always seen in the latest catwalk creations.

''Forget Suri Cruise, this baby is going to be seriously cool,” a friend of the Beckhams told British newspaper The Sun.

It was also revealed that the Victoria has been secretly buying clothes for a baby girl for years.

The designer, who is expected to give birth via Caesarean section tomorrow, would pretend to buy gifts for friends and then stash the girly items at home to save for a future daughter.

''Victoria loves her three sons, but wants a girl to be with her while they're playing football with Dad," the source said.

Xzibit disgusted by planking

Rapper/actor Xzibit is disgusted by the current craze for 'planking' after learning the awkward position was once used in the slave trade.

Stars including Katy Perry, Chris Brown, Demi Moore, Rosario Dawson , Carl Fletcher & Vaughan Smith have all declared their love for the internet phenomenon, which sees people posting online pictures of themselves lying face down like a plank of wood in unusual locations.

However, the hip-hop star is fuming that 'planking' is so popular, as slaves were made to lie in similar positions in ships' cramped cargo holds as they were transported between countries.

In a series of posts on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "Planking is the dumbest s**t ever. Planking was a way to transport slaves on ships during the slave trade, it's not funny. Educate yourselves.

"Don't get it twisted. I care less where your dumb a**es lay face down and take pictures of the s**t, I'm just telling you where it came from."

Paris Hilton dates Hangover director

Paris Hilton's new romance with Todd Phillips appears to be heating up, with the pair seemingly inseparable.

Director Todd and socialite Paris have been seen together three times in the past week, including when they were caught kissing in a Hollywood nightclub last Thursday.

They were spotted leaving a restaurant in Malibu yesterday and enjoyed the Independence Day weekend partying.

Onlookers at a star-studded celebrity bash they attended were surprised by how open they were being about their romance.

"They were getting very friendly and didn't mind who saw," an onlooker is quoted as saying in British newspaper The Daily Mail.

"Paris couldn't keep her hands off Todd and he was loving the attention. He looked like the cat who got the cream."

Bradley Cooper, who stars in The Hangover movies Todd is famous for, was also in attendance at the party, as was Scottish heartthrob Gerard Butler.

Paris, 30, split from long term boyfriend Cy Waits just last month.

Lindsay Lohan turns 25, celebrates freedom

Lindsay Lohan celebrated her 25th birthday on Saturday, just three days after being released from house arrest, which she served for 35 days for violating her probation.

Following her release, Lohan attended a friend's going away dinner at the Lexington Social House in Hollywood, where she was hounded by photographers and nearly fell. The actress took to Twitter to defend her near-fall, posting a photo of her platform shoes, which she blamed along with the "psychotic paparazzi."

"Of course me going to my best friends going away dinner is a headline, especially on my first day out of my house in 35 days," Lohan wrote on Twitter. " That does not give anyone the right to have a field day and manifest stories. IT WAS A GOING AWAY DINNER THAT WAS IT. Nothing exciting happened aside from the very yummy hummus and pita. If anyone caused me to nearly fall it was the psychotic paparazzi."

Lohan was photographed with friends, including actor Emile Hirsch and "Kick-Ass" actress Lyndsy Fonseca.

The actress is expected to celebrate her birthday with friends, including her ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson in the Hamptons, New York, according to the Daily Mail.

In April, a judge had sentenced Lohan to jail after she pleaded guilty to theft in a missing $2,500 necklace case. It was determined that the charge constituted a violation of the actress' probation regarding a 2007 drunk driving and cocaine possession case.

Lohan turned herself in at a Los Angeles-area jail on May 26 and was told she could serve her sentence at home and be monitored electronically. The actress also had her punishment reduced from 120 days to 35. Lohan's house arrest was lifted on Wednesday at 10:20 a.m. local time, according to a police report obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com.

Now that Lohan is free, she must fulfill the other part of her punishment given over her theft case - community service. In addition to being given three more years of probation, the actress was also ordered to complete 480 community service hours at a women's shelter and in a morgue, undergo psychological counseling, attend a Shoplifters Alternative class and pay several fines.

She had begun her community service duties before she was put under house arrest and was ordered to resume her duties after her release. Her spokesperson said in a statement obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com that Lohan said on Tuesday that she is eager to get back to fulfilling her community service obligations.

After her release, Lindsay Lohan was seen stepping outside and heading into an SUV. She later Tweeted that she "had a great day" at the Los Angeles women's shelter, where she must complete part of her community service hours.

Lohan served time in jail with other inmates several times for stints that have lasted between 84 minutes and 14 days - a sentence reduced from 90 days, mostly due to overcrowding.

Katie Price has met ‘the one’ says psychic Sally Morgan

Jordan has met her true love in Argentinian boyfriend Leandro Penna, according to her psychic.

Pal Sally Morgan said the twice-married glamour girl, 33, wants to settle down with the 25-year-old.

Her verdict comes after Leandro was spotted sporting a Katie Price tattoo last week.

Sally, Princess Diana's former confidante, said: "Katie's very happy at the moment. Will it last? Yeah! I think it will. Katie is desperate for something to last, for longevity.

"I think she now wants a bit of peace in her life and Leandro gives her that. He gives her a sense of being grounded. It's a pity people knock that."

Sally meets some of her celebrity pals in her new series, Psychic Sally: On The Road.

They include Strictly judge Alesha Dixon, singer Sinitta, Corrie actress Helen Flanagan and The Only Way Is Essex's Lauren Goodger and Mark Wright.

In one reading, Sally tells shocked French chef Jean-Christophe Novelli his house is haunted.

She said: "I told him I could see a little boy running up and down the corridor behind him.

"He said, 'Yes, I have a son,' and I had to explain this was a dead child. He didn't understand that I'm a medium and I see dead people."

The Sky Living series starts at 8pm tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Jordan is set to take delivery of a Range Rover decked out in pink.

She splashed out up to £100,000 on the Vogue car which is thought to feature a diamond-encrusted clock worth £25,000.

It was customised by the Project Kahn company in Bradford. Jordan already has a VW Beetle, scooter and horsebox - all in pink.

Blake Lively's always had a thing for Leo

Looks like all of Blake Lively's (childhood) dreams really did come true when she started dating Leonardo DiCaprio! Back in 2007, Blake candidly chatted to talk show host David Letterman and blurted out: "I have a confession... You and Leonardo DiCaprio were my childhood crushes, so I'm nervous right now."

David played along and joked, "Now what ever happened to that Leo guy?" And Blake giggled, "He's actually backstage right now."

Now, does this remind anyone else of the time when Katie Holmes admitted she'd had a major crush on Tom Cruise when she was young? Sounds like you had better be very careful what you wish for in Hollywood...

Gaga's tour forced her into bankruptcy

Lady Gaga was left $US3 million ($2.8 million) in debt when her Monster Ball tour forced her into bankruptcy.

The pop superstar launched her second series of live concerts in 2009 and has spent two years touring the show. Described as "the first-ever pop electro opera", the tour was announced after an intended joint tour with Kanye West was suddenly cancelled.

Since the Monster Ball tour began, Gaga has performed the show more than 200 times, grossing over $US227.4 million.

Gaga previously admitted her lavish stage sets and production costs left her bankrupt and she has now revealed she was struggling with a massive multimillion-dollar debt.

"I put everything in the show, and I actually went bankrupt after the first extension of The Monster Ball. And it was funny because I didn't know! And I remember I called everybody and said, 'Why is everyone saying I have no money? This is ridiculous, I have five number one singles' - and they said, 'Well, you're $3 million in debt'," Gaga said in an interview with Stephen Fry for Britain's Financial Times.

While the tour clearly burned a hole in the artist's pocket, album sales have skyrocketed in the past week with Gaga's album Born This Way debuting at No.1 on the ARIA albums chart.

The much-anticipated album, released on May 23, is already approaching multi-platinum status in Australia and has reportedly sold more than a million copies worldwide.
In Britain Gaga ended Adele's lengthy reign over the UK album chart with Born This Way scoring the biggest first week sales of the year so far.

The album shot to the top spot on the charts just hours after promoters announced that Gaga will return to Sydney for an intimate performance for fewer than 1000 of her diehard fans on July 13.

What turns Matthew Morrison on?

If you’ve got a thing for the Glee’s crooning Spanish teacher, then here’s a lesson you need to learn. Matthew Morrison, who plays the popular Will Schuester in hit series Glee, admits watching women dance gets him all hot under the collar.

“Dancing is very sensual. It’s someone expressing themselves through their body. I mean, I get turned on when I see women dance,” he explains.

While dancing does it for the 32-year-old hunk, he’s looking for a woman who likes to tuck in… to his home-cooked meals, that is.

“I’m kind of a homebody so it would involve cooking. I make this mean chicken enchilada. Not too spicy, it’s just right. And I’m really into crockpotting right now. It’s like a slow cooker, so you put food in it in the morning, like stews and it gets so soft and tender. But it's great because you can put it in at some time in the morning and go to work all day and then you come home and your whole house just smells amazing. So I'd probably cook for her,” he adds. “Cooking and conversation - the two Cs. And a bottle of wine - maybe a couple."

We want Pippa's bum!

Since rocketing to the spotlight after acting as sister Kate’s royal bridesmaid, Pippa Middleton has left us with one buring question, and no, it’s not about his royal hotness Prince Harry. Our question is: how can we get a bum like yours?

Britain’s newest sensation has revealed that her secret is Pilates! “My Pilates sessions have become something of a weekly necessity that keeps me fit, happy and energised,” said Pippa.

Does that mean if we start Pilates that we’ll get a Facebook page dedicated to our derriere with over 200,000 likes? Highly doubtful, but it seems to be working wonders for Pip.

“As someone who is always on the go, Pilates has been a wonderful escape from my busy lifestyle in London,” the 27 year-old says, “whether it’s 7am in the morning or 7pm at night I always leave feeling calm, refreshed and invigorated.”

Brangelina together onscreen again?

While strutting some seriously questionable facial hair at Cannes this week, Brad Pitt hinted at a collaboration we’ve been waiting for since 2005, teaming once again with partner Angelina Jolie.

“We're hopscotching with films so one can be with the kids and one's free to work,” said the superstar dad, “Why aren't we doing them together? Why aren't we doing everything together?"

Why indeed. The duo hooked up while filming Mr & Mrs Smith, and another project together might spark some extra magic both in the box office and behind the screens.

But the more important question remains, what is going on with the facial hair, Brad? You seriously need to take some tips on becoming a silver fox from your BFF, George Clooney. We really don’t want a repeat of the pirate bead beard of 2009.

Justin Bieber wants to be an actor

Justin Bieber says that he "definitely" wants to pursue a career in front of the camera. The teenage singer, who is best known for hit songs such as 'Baby', caught the acting bug when he filmed a guest role on US crime show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation earlier this year.

He said: "I definitely want to do more acting, and further my career in that area, that's something I would love to do."

A career change may not be on the cards for the 17-year-old heartthrob yet though, as he says he would "love" to collaborate with Stevie Wonder or Beyonce.

JT hates casual sex

Justin Timberlake thinks that casual sex is a "bad idea". The 'Sexyback' singer, who recently split from actress Jessica Biel, says that getting "intimate" with someone without being in a relationship with them only leads to emotional heartbreak.

"It's a really good idea until it becomes a bad idea," he reveals. "It probably becomes a bad idea really fast. If you're going to be intimate with someone at some point somebody's going to feel something."

JT was recently linked to Tron actress Olivia Wilde.

Nick Cannon: Mariah Carey Having Twins "Any Moment Now"

Nick Cannon said his pregnant wife Mariah Carey is due "any moment now."

In a Thursday appearance on The Talk, the 30-year-old dad-to-be said he and Carey, 42, are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their son and daughter.

"How's [Mariah] doing? She's pregnant," Cannon quipped. "She's doing amazing, but literally, it's any moment now. It's not even any day now… She is ready to just pop!"

Cannon said he and Carey almost headed to the hospital Wednesday night. "The baby nurse and all that is ready. [The] bags are packed! I don't know why I'm here!"

Having twins on the way has caused the self-proclaimed "daredevil" to live a bit more cautiously. He explained: "I was filming America's Got Talent, and I do a lot of crazy stuff on that show… And I found myself thousands of feet in the air in a hot-air balloon. The only thing separating me from the ground was a wicker basket. And I looked down, and [at] that moment, I was like 'I can't do this anymore.' A good gust of wind, and my children might never meet their father!"

"I've got to take into consideration that I've got other lives that I'm responsible for," he said.

So what did his wife think of that risky hot-air balloon stunt? He joked: "She doesn't know!"

Peter Andre: 'I'm a dirty little rotter'

Peter Andre says that he's "pure filth" in bed. The Aussie singer, who used to be married to British glamour model and reality TV star Katie "Jordan" Price, is very confident when it comes to his sexual prowess.

"I'm a gentleman, but I'm fiery, too," he reveals. "I'm a hot-blooded male! I'm a sexual man, definitely. I'm pure filth. But I'm not a sleaze."

But the sexy sales pitch didn't end there, with him bragging: "I'm a massively passionate person. A dirty little rotter in the bedroom, and a gentleman, too. The whole package, I hope! I like to satisfy the other person. I'd rather they be satisfied than me. I'm generous."

Pete was recently romantically linked to former football WAG Elen Rives.

Khloe: 'Mum plans my sex life'

Kris Jenner plans Khloe Kardashian's sex life. The reality TV starlet, who is married to basketball star Lamar Odom, says that her mum is so desperate for them to start a family that she has even been telling her what kinky positions to try to boost her chances of falling pregnant.

Khloe says: "My family would love me to have a baby, but my mum is completely obsessed. Once, she asked my assistant to find out when I was ovulating. Mom had her call my gynaecologist and then told me to plan a time to have sex with my husband.

"Mom calls me all the time with different sex positions to try, she's crazy. I have to keep reminding her that I'm her daughter, not a girlfriend."

Khloe has previously said that she and Lamar are not planning to start a family any time soon.

Kate Middleton has "jitters"

Kate Middleton is reportedly stressing out about her upcoming wedding. The Princess-to-be has become so anxious about tying the knot with Prince William at Westminster Abbey tomorrow that she has been having a recurring nightmare about being naked in front of her guests!

"Kate has the last-minute jitters and just wants the day to arrive," a friend of the British brunette revealed. "It's hardly surprising considering the stage she is going to be on - with the eyes of the world on her.

"But her nerves have manifested in an interesting way. A recurring dream she hadn't had for years has raised its head again. She finds herself in front of the congregation and then becomes suddenly aware she is completely naked."

Another mate says that despite being "nervous", Kate and Wills are "very much in love and can’t wait to be married".

Lady Gaga's 'Judas' Upsets Religious Groups

Lady Gaga is stirring up controversy with the lyrics and video for her new song, "Judas."

The tune features lyrics like: "I want to love you,/but something’s pulling me away from you/Jesus is my virtue, and Judas is the demon I cling to….I’m just a holy fool,/ oh baby he’s so cruel,/ but I’m still in love with Judas, baby.”

Fumes Bill Donahue, president of The Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, in a statement: "This is a stunt... Lady Gaga tries to continue to shock Catholics and Christians in general: she dresses as a nun... she swallows the rosary. She has now morphed into a caricature of herself.

"She is trying to rip off Christian idolatry to shore up her talentless, mundane and boring performances. Another ex-Catholic whose head is turned around... Is this the only way to jet up her performance? This isn't random, we are getting closer to Holy Week and Easter."

Gaga plays Mary Magdalene in the forthcoming video, which her creative director, Laurieann Gibson (who was behind the Grammy egg), told The Hollywood Reporter that "Judas" shouldn't be offensive.

"It went through several changes and late-night debates because at one point, there were two completely different views and I was like, 'Listen, I don't want lightning to strike me! I believe in the gospel and I'm not going there.' And it was amazing because to have that conversation about salvation, peace and the search for the truth in a room of non-believers and believers, to me, that was saying God is active in a big way. And the place that it came to is surreal. We don't touch on things that we have no right touching upon, but the inspiration and the soul and idea that out of your oppression, your darkness, your Judas, you can come into the marvelous light. So it's about the inspiration and to never give up… We've created a new Jerusalem.

When asked if she would have walked away from the video if she didn't agree with the final treatment, Gibson said, "Absolutely. I do believe God inspired and worked on everyone's heart, but yes. I would have been like, “Good bye, I ain't doing it. No way.” But the place it came to is really magical. And she's dancing her face off.

On Saturday -- one day after it was released -- the video had 620,242 listens on YouTube by noon ET.

Natalie Portman quits smoking weed

Natalie Portman has revealed she has given up smoking cannabis, but she still loves watching "stoner comedies".

The Oscar-winning actress is appearing in two comedy movies - Your Highness and Best Buds - following a host of performances in tense dramas.

Despite her clean-cut image, Natalie has confessed she has experience of experimenting with drugs and enjoyed using them when she was at Harvard University in the US. However, the 29-year-old pregnant star claims she is now too old to dabble anymore.

"I love stoner comedies. I smoked weed in college, but I haven't smoked in years," she told Entertainment Weekly. "I'm too old. I wish I was that cool, but I'm like an old lady now. I'm in bed by 10 pm. I can't do that anymore."

In Your Highness, Natalie plays a mysterious warrior who joins a prince and his party-loving brother on his quest to rescue his fiancée from an evil sorcerer.

In Bed Buds, she will play a bride-to-be who decides to ditch her wedding plans and enjoy a marijuana-fuelled road trip with her two friends.

Natalie has spoken about experimenting with drugs and alcohol in the past. She feels she missed out on many teenage experiences because she enjoyed acting success at such a young age.

"OK, so I didn't really go to high school parties and, yeah, I didn't touch pot until I was in my 20s," she previously said. "I didn't get flat-out drunk until I went to college. But I think that's a good thing in many ways."

Wyclef Jean Shot in Haiti

Hip hop artist Wyclef Jean was reportedly shot in the hand in Haiti. The 41-year-old Jean was in the town of Delmas, near Port-au-Prince, Haiti, when he was wounded. Reports quote a spokesperson for Jean as saying that the musician was treated at a local hospital "for a gunshot wound to his hand." Details about the shooting weren't immediately available. Fortunately, Jean was released from the hospital after receiving treatment. It certainly could have been much, much worse.

According to ABC News, Wyclef Jean was in his home country of Haiti for Sunday's presidential runoff elections. Jean is said to be a strong supporter of Michel Martelly, a Haitian recording artist and activist. In 2010, Jean actually announced he would run for president of Haiti. He was later ruled ineligible because he "failed to meet the Constitution's residency requirements."

Wyclef Jean's management took to his Twitter account in the hours after the shooting, to let followers know Jean was okay. Hopefully Jean will make a quick recovery, though no doubt his injury will sideline him from any last-minute campaigning for his friend Martelly.

Gervais’ humor, few surprises define Golden Globes

Take away the red carpet, the elegant dresses and the A-list celebrities and the Golden Globes are revealed for what they really are: a base awards show that gives Hollywood one more shot to pat itself on the back. What is the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, exactly? Who runs this mysterious organization? Besides making the arbitrary judgments more commonly known as the Golden Globe Awards, what do HFPA members do? And more importantly, why do they matter?

Recently, this question has plagued many film and TV buffs. The list of 2011 Golden Globe nominees for Best Picture — including the critically panned “The Tourist,” starring Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie — was particularly puzzling, making befuddled movie enthusiasts (myself included) wonder if the film was only nominated because obscure HFPA journalists wanted the chance to mingle with Jolie and Depp at the big awards show.

Thank God for Ricky Gervais, who took this controversy and ran with it as host of the 2011 Globes. The British comedian used the host’s pulpit to roast both the HFPA and those lining up to receive their awards. Borderline offensive but utterly hilarious, Gervais breathed life and excitement into an awards ceremony devoid of any big surprises.

Gervais’ jokes provoked varied reactions from the audience. Some actors such as Christian Bale (or was that Jesus?) poked fun at the awards ceremony during their acceptance speeches, while Woody Allen and Tom Hanks used their time onstage to playfully decry Gervais’ heavy-handed humor.

For those who watch the Golden Globes for the awards, this year’s show was a disappointment. But those watching the ceremony for the drama were undoubtedly satisfied. While it is quite unlikely that Gervais will ever be allowed to host the awards show again (in recent news articles, Gervais acknowledges that his over-the-top performance is unlikely to win him more hosting invitations), I am eternally grateful that he went out with a bang. —Alec Brodsky

Best of Film

“The Social Network” dominated the Golden Globe Awards Sunday night, earning the Best Motion Picture Drama prize as well as awards for its direction, screenwriting and musical score.

Although the Golden Globes don’t carry the critical clout of the Academy Awards, they are generally considered a good predictor of Oscar success. With its wins at the Golden Globes and positive critical reception, we can certainly expect to hear the score of “The Social Network” throughout the night of Sunday, Feb. 23 during the Academy Awards.

Described by Rolling Stone Magazine as “the film that defined a generation,” the movie is indeed impressive — well written, visually brilliant and scored fantastically. As writer Aaron Sorkin said when accepting his screenwriting award, director David Fincher managed to make computers interesting by using fast-paced scenes and sharp, witty dialogue.

But does “The Social Network” define a generation? For a film to do so, it must transcend its profit motive to express the mood of the times. People watching “The Social Network” decades from now should be able to have an idea of what it was like to live in the early 21st century, just as we can understand the angst and alienation of teenagers in the 1950s when we watch the classic “Rebel Without a Cause” (1955).

Our generation — which has matured in the era of computers, a financial crisis on Wall Street and the threat of terrorist attacks — can be defined by its individualism and rogue entrepreneurship in a quickly globalizing world. In that sense, “The Social Network” comes pretty close to putting on screen what it means to be right here, right now.

While “The Social Network” beat out serious competition like “The King’s Speech” for its Best Motion Picture Drama award, the winners for the best performance in a dramatic picture were fairly easy to predict. For drama, Colin Firth took the Globe for “The King’s Speech” and Natalie Portman won for “Black Swan.” Both actors were predicted favorites, although Jesse Eisenberg’s performance in “The Social Network” and Nicole Kidman’s delivery in “Rabbit Hole” posed a real threat.

In comedy, the race was a bit more contested, with “The Kids are Alright” triumphing over Tim Burton’s fantastical “Alice in Wonderland.”

In the best performance category, Annette Bening beat out her co-star, Julianne Moore, while Paul Giamatti’s performance in “Barney’s Version” won out over Johnny Depps’ performances in “Alice in Wonderland” and “The Tourist.” —Gavin Huang & Jackie Donohoe

Best of TV

For the most part, the Golden Globes results for television turned out as critics and viewers had expected. It came as no surprise, for example, that the critically lauded “Boardwalk Empire” snagged the Best Television Series Drama award. It is notable, though, that “Boardwalk Empire” beat out “Mad Men,” which had won the award for the past three years.

Steve Buscemi, the star of “Boardwalk Empire,” took home the award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series Drama, while Katey Sagal from “Sons of Anarchy” won the prize for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series Drama.

As anticipated by many critics, “Glee” won the trophy for Best Television Series Comedy or Musical, beating out popular critical hits like “Mad Men,” “30 Rock” and “Nurse Jackie.” Even more impressive, a few of the actors on “Glee” gained recognition for their performances in supporting roles.

For the second year running, Jane Lynch took home the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her part as the malicious cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, while Chris Colfer won the award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for his much praised portrayal of gay teen Kurt Hummel.

The mini-series “Carlos” — which tells the life story of a Venezuelan terrorist — won in the category of Best Mini-Series Or Motion Picture Made for Television. —Sydney Ayers
