Amanda Bynes: 'I've Retired' From Acting

Amanda Bynes is done acting, the 24-year-old star announced on Twitter.

"Being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem," she tweeted from her verified account. "If I don't love something anymore I stop doing it. I don't love acting anymore so I've stopped doing it."

However, she admitted that she's a little young to call it quits already.

"I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first," she tweeted. "I've #retired."

Following her her star-making roles on Nickelodeon's sketch comedy "All That" and her own show on the network, "The Amanda Show," Amanda starred alongside Jennie Garth on the WB sitcom "What I like About You" and hit the big screen in such films as "She's The Man" and "Hairspray."

If she holds true to her retirement revelation, her last film project may be the fall comedy "Easy A," co-starring Emma Stone, due September 17.

Spice Girls ‘To Reunite Without Posh’

The Spice Girls are planning to tour again but are having trouble persuading Victoria Beckham to join them, according to reports.

The members reformed in 2007 for a massive world tour which netted them millions each.

And now they apparently want another money spinning jaunt except for Posh- who is busy working on her fashion range.

A source told The Mirror: “The girls are so excited. They are buzzing about getting back together and each have so many new ideas and so much to bring to the table. They are desperate to get Posh on board, but that is the sticking point.

“Although she's still so nostalgic about the good old days, she has moved on now and is relishing the fashion world. They don't want to give up on her, but have so many plans."

Today The Sun reports that Victoria Beckham is so fussy that she demands huge amounts of fruit on photoshoots that must not be mixed up.

Lohan's porn star role to blow minds

Troubled star Lindsay Lohan will "blow people's minds" when her upcoming movie about iconic porn star Linda Lovelace is released, according to director Mattew Wilder.

The Mean Girls actress will be back on the big screen next year playing the controversial adult sex star in Inferno, E!Online reported.

The movie's director, Wilder, insists that despite her party girl reputation, Lohan is a "thoughtful" actress who shines in her portrayal of troubled star Lovelace because the two have much in common.

"Both of them grew up in this case where there was kind of this whole industry built around them. It's built around destroying (Lohan). The real person is very thoughtful and cares about acting and has a lot of heart. Not this kind of screwball that's depicted everyday in the press," Wilder said.

"(Fans are) not going to see this whacked-out person... They're going to see the artist coming out. I feel like when this actually comes out and when you see what the movie is and what she's doing, it's going to be so unexpected that it's going to actually kind of blow people's minds," Wilder added.

Tara Reid reveals new bikini body

It's the first time Reid has stepped out in a bathing suit since doctors corrected previous surgery that left her disfigured, according to America's Us Weekly.

She went under the knife in 2004, but her joint liposuction and breast enhancement operation went drastically wrong.

'It looked like I got completely butchered up,' she later said of her enlarged cleavage.

Of her liposuction, Reid added: 'I had body contouring, but it all went wrong. My stomach became the most ripply, bulgy thing.'

But she is once again comfortable in her own skin - so much so that the 34-year-old even posed for Playboy in December last year.

'I'm relaxed,' she told the publication at the time.
'I'm a young woman with confidence ... At the end of the day, I go to sleep knowing who I am.
'I'm happy with my life now, and I'd like to keep it this way.'

Reid, who has seen her career stall in recent years, is due to appear in a low-budget thriller called The Fields.

Her big break came when she played the role of Bunny in The Big Lebowski, which she followed with Cruel Intentions and then the American Pie series.

A good friend of Paris Hilton, she dated MTV DJ Carson Daly in 2000 before becoming engaged in 2001.

During the filming of American Pie 2 in the same year, she was badly traumatised after the engagement was called off.

She found new love this January with German internet entrepreneur Michael Axtmann and they had planned to marry in May.

However, she is said to have recently called off the wedding.

Tila Tequila 'admitted to hospital'

Tila Tequila has reportedly been taken to hospital by the Los Angeles Fire Department after posting a video of her slashed arm on her official website last weekend.

The 28-year-old claimed that the cuts were caused by an alternate personality while she slept, reports Radar Online. The post prompted many calls to local authorities by concerned fans and friends.

"A Los Angeles city rescue ambulance was called and they transported Tila to a local hospital," said an LAPD spokesperson.

"The call for the rescue ambulance was for a psychological rescue."

Paramedics are said to have searched for nearly five hours before locating Tequila, who was then taken in for further evaluation.

Lady Gaga Says New Album Will Be 'Spiritual'

In a new interview with The Times of London, Lady Gaga gets deep on a number of topics — life, love, health, wealth and religion, to name just a few — and from the sound of things, all of those are going to be addressed on her new album.

"You know when people say, 'If you could say one sentence about who you are, what your life is,' it's that. For the whole album," Gaga told the paper (link). "Because I recently had this ... miracle-like experience, where I feel much more connected to God."

When The Times' Caitlin Moran pressed Gaga to clarify her statement, she made it clear that the new album will not shy away from topics like God and religion, but the scope won't just be limited to Gaga's own Christian upbringing. The goal, she explains, is to explore them in an all-encompassing, broader sense.

"[It's] more spiritual," Gaga says. "I don't want to say much, because I want it to stay hidden until it comes out — but I will say that religion is very confusing for everyone, and particularly me, because there's really no religion that doesn't hate or condemn a certain kind of people, and I totally believe in all love and forgiveness, and excluding no one."

Gaga also says that, despite being in the middle of a seemingly endless world tour, she's recording music "every day." In fact, she said she has already completed the majority of the follow-up to her ultra-successful The Fame and The Fame Monster. But she was mum about just when her Little Monsters will be able to hear any of it.

"[I] can't talk about it yet," she said. "But everyone's going to f---ing know about it when it comes out."
